Born on November 24, 1977, in Elista, Kalmyk Republic, the USSR (Russia).
From 1995 to 2005, studied at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (now Central University of Tibetan Studies), Varanasi, India. In 2003, obtained the Bachelor's Degree in Buddhist Philosophy and Tibetan, in 2005, the Master's Degree (Acharya) in Buddhist Philosophy.
From 2009 up to present, a student at St Petersburg State University, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Department of Mongolian and Tibetan Studies.
From 2005 to 2008, a translator and, later, the head of the Literature & Translations Department at the Kalmykian Central Buddhist Monastery Dge ldan bshad sgrub chos 'khor gling.
From January 2010 up to October 2011, an assistant researcher at the IOM RAS, took part in the processing and cataloguing of the Tibetan collection.
Major research interests: Buddhist philosophy, Bon religion, Mongolian translations of Buddhist texts, the Shangshung language.
