This book provides the first Russian-language translation of a fascinating work of medieval Jewish didactic literature from the second half of the 11th century. The Testament of the Sage Judah Ibn Tibbon to his Son Samuel Written in the Days of his Youth is the ethical will of Judah Ibn Tibbon (c. 1120-c.1190) who established the tradition of scholarly translation from Juedo-Arabic to Hebrew.
