SUMMARY
In the publication are presented the early medieval Uighur civil documents discovered in Eastern Turkestan, the originals or the photocopies of which are kept in the manuscript collection of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of Russian Academy of Sciences. The publication contains the transcription, translation, required commentaries, word index, indexes of proper names and toponymes and facsimile of the publishing documents. In the edition are included the documents earlier published in the W. Radloff s work “Uigurische Sprachdenkmaler” (1928) as well as the certain number of documents, that are not presented in it.
The publishing documents are the important sources for study the social-economics, history, religion, culture etc. of the peoples of Eastern Turkestan, that was the one of the main junction points of the ancient Silk-Road, and of Central Asia in general.
