The Funds of National Central Archives of Mongolia and the Treasury
of National Museum of Mongolia can be called as the main centres of the
sources for Mongolian Studies. In this report, I will discuss Tsyben
Jamtsarano’s personal fund in the National Central Archives of Mongolia and
his snuff bottle (khoorog) kept in the National Museum of Mongolia. I used
here traditional methods of historiography such as analytic interpretation.
However, documents related to Tsyben Jamtsarano kept in his personal fund
are not too numerous and it is desired to study of each document in his fund properly, to
reveal his biography and, through this, the history of Mongolia at the beginning
of the 20th century.
